Subject: 888 (Stocky Edwards) Wing – Support to 386 Sqn RCAC

1. Except under extenuating circumstances, 888 Wing will continue to provide building space(s) for training, storage, and administration purposes for the sole use of 386 Squadron RCAC.  A section of the parking area has also been allocated to the Squadron (Sqn) for drill and parade practice and is subject to the same conditions.

2. Where there is no conflict with any scheduled 888 Wing activities, every consideration will be given to 386 Squadron to conduct training activities, and/or for the Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC), to meet in the Wing lounge on regular parade nights.  Security of the lounge, before and after the activity will be the responsibility of an 888 Wing member(s) in good standing and/or a 386 Sqn Officer, approved by the 888 Wing Board of Directors.  Names of those individuals having lounge access are to be recorded in the minutes of the BOD meeting at which they were approved.

3. Using a starting figure of $4,500.00, which has been the norm for the years previous to the drafting of this statement, 386 SSC will pay 10% of 888 Wing’s operating expenses based on the following charges:

a. Hydro

b. Heating

c. Insurance

d. Building/facility maintenance

e. Waste removal

f. Fire/safety inspections and repairs

g. Cleaning services

Subsequent increases in these assessments may not exceed 3.5% in any given calendar year.

During any period(s) of unanticipated financial hardship, the SSC may approach the Wing Board of Directors for assistance.
