Another great evening of entertainment at the Wing!!!  A delicious beef dip dinner was provided by Gordon & DonnaMae Ireland, Rhoda Metcalf and Peter Edwards prior to the entertainment.  Don Hogan was our Master of Ceremonies, Joan Tufford  manned the electronics and our Wing "amateurs" provided songs, skits and monologues!!!

Marlene Dopkins…what a versatile gal!!!  Marlene entertains at various senior's venues in the Valley and enjoys every minute of it….and it shows in her performance!  Her first number was a lipsync to Barbara Streisand's "I Wish I Were A Kid Again"...

Mary Ann Tait is a little lady with a very big voice...what a range!!!  She delighted us with three Celtic songs:  Loch Lomond, Fields of Athenry and The Fourteen Shades of Green.

Oh, oh...it's past SOMEBODY'S bedtime!!!  Jim Smith accompanies on guitar as Bob Hallowell sing's the senior's version of "Are You Lonesome Tonight" (apologies to Elvis!).  How DO they keep a straight face???!!!

It was SO good to see Jack Bradley and Dawna Dozzie back again!  Jack never loses his touch on the piano and Dawna's voice is terrific!  They entertained us with "The Nearness of You" and "For All We Know We May Never Meet Again"....

Corky's son and wife were visitors...he looks like Dad!!!

Gerry Bullen was our first act with a very humorous monologue on curriculum changes in the British school system.  Being blessed with many talents Gerry is no stranger to the stage….

...and she shed the cloak to reveal the child beneath!

Next we had the two raunchy old ladies purported to be from Berwick who claim they had just been kicked out of the Legion!  Not surprising judging by their antics!!!  Oh yes...that's Les Routledge and Colin Day in disguise!!!

And Gerry came back with three songs.  His first song was "Imagine"...nicely done!  A quick costume change (on-stage) and we had Elvis singing "All Shook Up"...with a fair amount of audience participation!!!  His final number was from Phantom of the Opera..."All I Ask for You".

And here's Dolly!!!  Marlene is back performing "Release Me"....

Hey...that's Dixie Walker...the quiet guy!  He's up there telling us about his "Pet Peeve"....commercials!  Not only that, turns out he is thoroughly confused....but VERY entertaining!!!  Who would have thought!!!

And our own "King of Karaoke", Peter Edwards, entertained us with a couple of songs.  We particularly enjoyed that Julio Iglesias/Willie Nelson duet "To All the Girls I've Loved Before"!  Watching him juggle those hats was quite amusing!  Good work, Peter!!!
