The fall schedule has been a busy one for the Auxiliary. We started out with the Battle of Britain reception, which saw less attendance than last year. The clam
chowder and sandwiches were well received.
We were also lucky with the Remembrance Day weather. Attendance was good and all seemed to enjoy our presentation of clam chowder and subs. Good enough to even
lick the bowl! (no names will be revealed!)
We had large receptions for Bruce Inrig and Roger MacNeil. They will be missed.
A big thanks to all the ladies who helped out. Elsie and I appreciate all the help you give us so readily without any complaints! Also a big thank you to John Haughton, our “token” male volunteer. Guided by Lou, he does a marvellous job before hand to have everything ready for us to make sandwiches
in the mornings. Great job you two!
Remember, you too can be a part of our happy team. If anyone would like to help out once or twice a year, please call me and I would be oh so happy to add
your name to my list. With the “snow birds” away at this time of
year, it’s nice to have a few extras to call on. Welcome to Mary McLeod
who is our newest volunteer!
Thank you, Audrey Donovan
